Clarisonic Mia Review-The Best!

I was hesitant to try this. My thought was, what is a sonic brush head going to do for my face that a regular wash cloth isn't? Scrubbing is scrubbing, right? I have suffered from dry skin and rough feeling skin for a couple years and had tried everything on the market from cleansers to moisturizers to natural products. I had also tried scrubbing extra hard with a washcloth (my poor face!) nothing worked for my skin. It was still always dry.

I purchased the Clairsonic Mia a year ago. One word--Fantastic! The Clarisonic comes in three styles (face, body & face and the Mia) The Mia is a smaller version, advertised as perfect for traveling. I love the Mia, it's perfectly sized for your hand.

What it does?

It cleanses. Very well. You will be so amazed at how incredible your skin feels with this deep, yet delicate cleansing system. The Clarisonic was developed by the same inventor as the sonic toothbrush and uses the same technology--water+bristles+vibration=clean!

It will help clean your skin so thoroughly that it will reduce the appearance of small lines and wrinkles. The bonus, your skin never felt so soft and smooth.

3. timer-device has built-in timer for cleansing your face and a timer to alert you when it needs charging (double pulse is when you know it's time to recharge).

How do you use it?

The unit is waterproof. I use mine directly in the shower. It is also cordless.

To use: I apply cleanser to my face, then wet the clarisonic and in gentle, small, circular motions go across my entire face, forehead and I like to use around my jawline and under my chin.

What comes with it?

The Mia comes with the unit, a p-link charging cord, facial cleansing products and brush heads. The contents included will depend on what kit you choose. The kit I selected had three brush heads (normal, delicate and sensitive) and three facial cleansers by Clarisonic.

What is the price?

The price ranges from $110-$190, depending on what kit you choose. **This price is Mia only, other models are upwards of $200.**

A few additional comments:

You can choose what brush head works best for your skin. The brush heads can last up to three months (mine last longer as I clean them to prolong life). For me, the normal is the best brush head.

The Mia does not have a body buffing brush. I have never tried the body version, but I'm sure it's as fantastic as the face brush.

The Mia cannot hold a body brush. You would have to purchase the regular sized Clarisonic.

I do not apply cleanser directly to the brush head because I found it gunks up inside/under the brush.

I much prefer Purity Made Simple and Microdelivery Wash by Philosophy to the Clarisonic brand face cleansers.

My husband uses this and loves it and so do my teenagers. It's excellent for acne and can be used with acne wash.
